(To anyone considering transitioning, I must ask you to consider - can you see yourself as an elderly person of the desired sex? Because choosing to live means growing old one day.) The author is too busy calling everyone with even a whiff of same-sex attraction "queer" to take this argument of bodily neutrality to its logical conclusion.</td>
