The literary hell
of *Untitled Patel*
makes more sense now I've listened to this meeting:
what a mess
I've managed to sidestep
by insisting I handle every bit of publishing myself.
I can't imagine being
caught in the web
of such a headache-inducing
bureaucracy.
"Cut your word count down to size!"
"Delete this scene that I despise!"
"You live outside the established boundaries
of Christianity.
Redact and apologize for all instances of iniquity
or you'll be blacklisted from all Edens of agencies."
Give me instead the apple of unfiltered feelings.
